Meet the Host - Robert Guess

Gen-X Crisis is hosted by Robert Guess, a Gen-Xer in his mid 50s that is self-admittedly in the throws of a mid-life crisis.

Born in New Jersey in the 70s and raised in Florida in the ‘80s and ‘90s, Robert has been a Gen-X era singer-songwriter since 1988. He has straddled the lines between creative and business pursuits in a lifelong quest for artistic fulfillment and entrepreneurial survival.

Influenced by underground 80s rock, international cinema, new age metaphysics and absurdist comedy, Robert brings a poignant and humorous perspective with a deep desire to find meaning in an increasingly nonsensical world.

Robert has traveled extensively throughout the globe, relocating to Los Angeles in 2003 and Vancouver, Canada in 2011. He currently resides in Paris, France.

With Gen-X Crisis, Robert interviews a diverse collection of Gen-Xers from all walks of life, seeking to understand how to gracefully navigate a mid-life crisis with a dose of healthy Gen-X cynicism.
